Body styles
At this point we’re offering one unique Astha body style in four different variations, the A-E Sloped, Flat, Bevels and the Jazz body. All four body styles are available as Semi hollow body with a solid centre section and the Jazz model has a Hollow body with only a small sustain block underneath the bridge that keeps the top and back connected. The semi hollow body offers great sustain and is not as heavy as most all-solid electric guitars. Our hollow body provides decent sustain as well but has a much lighter feel to it. It also sounds loud enough acoustically to be fun for practicing without amplification. On all body styles we have a “through the body string mounting” which also provides better sustain.
The prices vary between US$700-1800.-, all depending on woods, pick-ups and many other details.

A-ES (Electric Sloped)
A book matched 2-piece solid body (usually in Mahogany) with hollow chambers for weight reduction and with a nice figured 3mm top. The top on this body is “sloped” down where your right arm sits for a maximum playing comfort. Additionally both cutaways are rounded up into the top which makes playing in the highest frets very comfortable.
The back edges are well rounded and the “belly curve” helps to have the guitar nicely sit in position when played on a strap.
This guitar usually comes with German Häussel custom humbucker in Ebony with master Volume/Tone controls and a 3-way switch.

A-EF (Electric Flat)
A book matched 2-piece solid body (usually in Mahogany) with hollow chambers for weight reduction and with a nice figured 3mm top. The top on this body type is totally flat and is enhanced with top edge bindings in a wood that brings out a nice contrast.
The back edges are well rounded and the “belly curve” helps to have the guitar nicely sit in position when played on a strap.
This guitar usually comes with German Häussel custom humbucker in Ebony with master Volume/Tone controls and a 3-way switch.

A-EB (Electric Bevel)
A book matched 2-piece solid body (usually in Mahogany) with a nice figured 3mm top. The top on this body type is totally flat and is enhanced with top edge bindings and an additional arm and two cutaway bevels in the same wood as the bindings that brings out a nice contrast.
The back edges are well rounded and the “belly curve” help to have the guitar nicely sit in position when played on a strap.
This guitar usually comes with German Häussel custom humbucker in Ebony with master Volume/Tone controls and a 3-way switch.

A-EJ (Electric Jazz)
A book matched 2-piece solid body (usually in Mahogany) with a nice figured 3mm top. The top on this body type is slightly arched and is enhanced with top edge bindings in a wood that brings out a nice contrast.
The EJ version is offered as hollow and semi body version with the “F” sound holes.
The back edges are well rounded but there is no “belly curve” because of the hollow body.
This guitar usually comes with a nice Häussel Jazz humbucker with a Volume and Tone control.

Pick-up options
We offer two sorts of the high-end Häussel Humbuckers for both, neck and bridge position, the Vin A2 and the Vin+. All of them are splittable to single coil with a Push-Pull Tone Pot.
VIN A2 Neck
Warm, transparent, clear and never muddy. The A2 magnets provide an all- encompassing, full sound. The Alnico3 version is somewhat softer and mil- der than the standard Alnico2’s sound. Best-seller!
VIN A2 Bridge
This is the bridge version of the VIN A2, with thicker winding especially for this position. The Alnico2 magnets provide a milder and softer sound.
VIN+ Neck
The VIN+ neck PU has a ceramic magnet – more winding gives you more output – but this sound will always remain clear and well-defined, in spite of the extra power.
VIN+ A5 Bridge
Hotter PAF winding. In combination with Alnico5s, you get a strong, full sound with beautiful overtones. This is the pickup for you if you want a PAF sound with bags of raw power. A very versatile and flexible set when used in combination with the VIN N A2. The ceramic magnet version gives you a tighter sound, with slightly more highs.
